Kips Holidays
Our Story

Magical memories, bespoke experiences

Kips Holidays was born from a simple belief: Sri Lanka rewards travelers who wander off the postcard. We believe that travel should be more than a checklist of sights; it should be a collection of deeply immersive, authentic moments that stay with you long after you return home. Our foundation is built on elite, firsthand expertise across the island's most iconic experiences. We are seasoned specialists in curation—whether it is securing the most breathtaking scenic train rides, guiding you through thrilling wildlife safaris, uncovering pristine tropical beaches, or designing perfect escapes through the mist-covered hill country, particularly within the majestic landscapes of Ella. We seamlessly fold this deep, localized knowledge into every bespoke itinerary we build, ensuring our guests experience the genuine heartbeat of Sri Lanka.

Our Team

Fourteen travel designers, one island's worth of favourite places

Every itinerary that leaves our office has been walked, driven or hiked by someone on this team. We're a mix of former park rangers, hospitality veterans and lifelong road-trippers — split across Colombo, Kandy and the south coast so there's always someone close to wherever your trip is happening.

You'll get one named designer for your whole trip, not a rotating support queue. They plan it, they answer your 11pm "is this safe to drink" question, and they're the one who calls the hotel if a room isn't ready.

Little Hearts Project

1% of every booking goes toward school supplies and clean-water access for villages along our most-travelled routes — including the "Blooming Smiles" reading programme we run with two rural primary schools near Ella.
